Artist Statement

"I used Ecoline and made A3 picture of a 3 year old refugee child. His body found dead in Bodrum coast, 2015 Turkey. His family was trying to escape to Greece from Turkey. They were running away from ISID and war in Syria. This picture is done from the shocking photo of this poor child's dead body." - pinar Ergun

About We Were Strangers Too

We Were Strangers Too is a collection of designs showing how diverse and universal the refugee experience truly is. Proceeds support the Anti-Defamation League, the nation's premier civil rights/human relations agency, fighting anti-Semitism and all forms of bigotry, defends democratic ideals and protects civil rights for all.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out.
