Artist Statement

"Fast food workers have always been a misunderstood and undervalued workforce. They work jobs few of us want or respect. And then put up with an often disrespectful customer base in too much of a hurry to appreciate that many of fast food workers love what they do and work hard to make our experiences with their restaurants as positive as possible. And they do all this for not nearly enough to support themselves or their families." - Kevin Bowen

I am a U.S. Air Force Veteran and graphic designer for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs. When I grow up, I hope to travel the country in a tiny house and support myself through freelance design. I'm obsessed with cookies and Batman.

About We Can Do It!

We Can Do It! is a collection of designs inspired by the iconic “We Can Do It” poster of the 1940's to celebrate modern-day workers (women and men alike) who keep the country running and rarely receive the recognition they deserve. Proceeds support Ultraviolet, a powerful and rapidly growing community of people from all walks of life mobilized to fight sexism and expand women's rights.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
