Artist Statement

The Green New Deal is becoming more than just an idea; it's becoming a clear pathway -- in fact the only pathway -- toward course-correcting our nation's policies on climate science and job creation so that we feel lifted up, inspired and connected to the greater common good again. When I started work on this design an image of a hot air balloon came to mind, so I decided to incorporate it as a symbol of progress and inspiration. - Holly Savas
