I am a huge cactus enthusiast and collector. The saguaro cactus is my absolute favorite type of cactus, so I had to create an illustration for The Saguaro National Park. What I created is a picture of a Gila Woodpecker sitting on top of a saguaro cactus. Gila woodpeckers create nests in saguaro cacti to protect themselves from predators and to keep warm.
