Artist Statement

The Grand Canyon is one of the most awe-inspiring places I have ever visited. The vastness of the canyon itself is overwhelming to you when you stand on the rim. Designated a national park in 1919, it is 277 miles long, as much as ten miles wide and a mile deep, and is a geological wonder. -Sheri Emerson
