Working Families Party (WFP) and Creative Action Network (CAN) have teamed up to create a series of designs celebrating five of WFP’s core issues. As WFP grows state by state, becoming a leading national player in the fights that matter to working families, we’re helping them visualize their core causes to mobilize their community.
Support independent artists, worthy causes, and get your holiday shopping done, all at the same time, by signing up for a chance to win a CAN giftcard here by 11/20 at midnight.
Those eagle-eyed visitors might have noticed a change around here recently, specifically that our really really long web url got significantly shorter! Shop.thecreativeactionnetwork.com is now Creativeaction.network! It's shorter, snappier, and just a little bit more fun.
We had a great time launching Join the Pack with Earthjustice with an evening full of wolves, art and howling! Around 200 people came out to see the new collection of wolf designs on easels, the walls around the cavernous venue and on screens that displayed both work and a live social media feed of #jointhepack.
Just in time for the 100th anniversary of the National Parks Service in 2016, we're proud to launch our brand new See America Wall Calendar, published by Workman Publishing! Featuring a dozen different designs from our See America campaign, this new calendar is the perfect way to celebrate the parks all year long!
On Friday, May 29th we held a popup gallery in the Salomon Room of the New York Public Library to celebrate the launch of the new NYPL ebook app containing Recovering the Classics covers! Thanks to an initiative with the White House, the app will be distributed to students and libraries across the country. With the help of our wonderful partners at NYPL, the National Book Foundation, the Digital Public Library of America (and many more) we were able to put on a great event in one of the nicest rooms we'd ever been in and attended by several hundred representatives of different publishing companies attending the Book Expo America convention. Checkout some photos from the event!
In anticipation of relaunching our Recovering the Classics campaign this summer we've added 50 awesome new titles! Although our revived push to design new covers for some of the greatest works in the public domain will not include paperback books initially, it will feature a lot of exciting new partners that have a widespread digital and ebook presence.
For earth day, we pulled together some of our favorite environmental artwork from across our various environmental campaigns because art says it best, #ClimateChangeIsReal!
