It's 100 years since the passing of the Representation of the People Act 1918, which gave property-owning women over 30 the right to vote in Great Britain. It wasn't equality by a long way, but it was the first step. Ten years later, full equal suffrage was achieved. I incorporated the Suffragette's colours, to remember their efforts. The Suffragettes and their supporters fought hard to win these rights for women, so let's celebrate and use our votes! - Katy Preen
