Artist Statement

Anyone who is anyone has performed at Wolf Trap over the years. Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, known locally in the Washington, D.C. area as simply Wolf Trap, is a performing arts center located on 117 acres of national park land in Fairfax County, Virginia, near the town of Vienna. It has attracted the very best of the best musicians in its forty years. As someone who was raised to love and appreciate music, the granddaughter and mother of musicians, this place means so much to me. - Sheri Emerson

Sheri Emerson has been an artist her entire life, winning her first contest at the grand old age of five. She works in many mediums - drawing, jewelry, scrapbooking, crocheting, and recently began to work in digital art - but photography remains her first love and passion. She has been published numerous times in both print and digital magazines, and is an international award winner for her digital art. Sheri finds her best inspiration in nature, and likes to say that Mother Nature is the ultimate artist - she would simply like to collaborate. Born and raised in Michigan, she now splits her time between her homes in Tempe, Arizona and Labrador City, Canada, and can be found most days, camera in hand, focusing on a flower or chasing a sunset. About See America

See America is reviving the legacy of the New Deal arts projects by building a new collection of posters celebrating our shared natural landmarks and treasured sites. Proceeds support National Parks Conservation Association, the independent, nonpartisan voice working to strengthen and protect our nation’s natural, historical, and cultural heritage.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
