Artist Statement

"The protagonist George Willard, a journalist with the local Winesburg paper, is woven in and out of the stories comprising this novel, based on Sherwood Anderson\'s memories of his hometown of Clyde, Ohio. Willard, the young newspaper man, is symbolized in my cover design by an old typewriter and a decorative newsprint pattern-Bob Rubin " - BOB RUBIN

After years of servicing clients, in the design of graphics & exhibitions Bob decided to abandon the \"BIG APPLE\" and move upstate NY with his wife, to a rural community. Bob now devotes much of his creative time, satisfying the requirements of the surrounding wildlife. They are great clients he claims: They never complain.
