Love books, activism and art? You’ve come to the right place! Books from Creative Action Network bring together artwork from hundreds of artists all over the world in support and celebration of the social causes we care about. Beautifully illustrated in a broad range of styles, social activist books are the perfect gift for readers of all ages and for family, coworkers and friends who are socially conscious, appreciate good design and care about the world we live in.
Somehow, during the contentious 2016 presidential campaign, the fact that America is already great got lost among all of the negative rhetoric and no-holds-barred quest for votes. Once the dust settled, the Creative Action Network—a global community of artists making "art with purpose"—launched a project to remind America of what it stands for and to challenge the current political climate.
Creative Action Network enlisted their artist community to create posters celebrating the inherent American values that really make America great. The work of over 75 of those artists are showcased in the upcoming What REALLY Makes America Great hardcover book! It's hoped that their messages will help restore America's pride and change the climate from one of fear to one of hope.

Bought this for myself but it was a little simplistic for an adult. Gave it to my 9 year old grandson and he really liked it. So it wasn’t what I expected, but I was able to get great use out of it anyway!
This book exceeded my already-high expectations, which I had formed from prior purchases from CAN. I bought it for my Sister, who was enamored with the WPA Posters featured on postage stamps from the United States Postal Service in 2018. The graphics on some of the artwork in this Book reminded me of the WPA posters and their unique artistic style. My Sister was thrilled with the Book and couldn't wait to show it to her children.
I love the variety of artists and the voice their creativity lends to the greatness of our country. I bought two of these as gifts and now want to get another one just for me!
