Growing up, my mother taught deaf children how to communicate with the world and understand sign language. She would use visual and physical things to get her message across to her students in ways that they could understand, and that's what sparked my fascination with graphic design. I am currently a Senior at Johnson & Wales University getting ready to move into the graphic design profession with 8 years of design experience under my belt and hopefully a lifetime to go. I work by using a combination of illustration, pops of color, typography, and minimal design.

We, the people of the United States of America, make this country great. Our cultural diversity, our acceptance and love for all types of people, and the right to free speech are some of the greatest things that America has to offer. This project is made with a combination of photography from a sister march of The Women's March and typography. These photos showcase diversity, our right to protest, and our beliefs with the sharp contrast of bold and strong typography. We all are what makes this country great, the people and what we do with our rights make America great. — Taryn Hann
