Artist Statement

I chose to re-imagine Frances Hodgson Burnett's 'The Secret Garden' as it holds a special place in my heart, as a child, my mom owned an old, tattered copy which she read out of for my sister and I. I wanted to pay tribute to that and re-imagine the book in a more modern style. - Julia Zeler
