Artist Statement

Kafka's novel is the story of Gregor, a young man who is transformed into an insect, thus becoming a disgrace to his family. One of the most widely read, influential works of the twentieth-century. I've attempted to graphically illustrate a human soul within the body of a beetle. - BOB RUBIN

After years of servicing clients, in the design of graphics & exhibitions Bob decided to abandon the "BIG APPLE" and move upstate NY with his wife, to a rural community. They purchased a 1790 farmhouse that was built by a Revolutionary War veteran. Bob now devotes much of his creative time, satisfying the requirements of the surrounding wildlife. They are great clients he claims: They never complain.
