Artist Statement

"Every phenomenon is interdependent. In the universal network we can not accept the presence of nuclear weapons because even a small change can trigger it. In the foreground the silhouette of a young dancer, with his hola hoop says "demand zero."" - Margherita Magnetti

Margherita Magnetti lives in Turin, Italy, graphic designer for over twenty years. Winner in 2010 of the international competition Good 50x70 for a campaign against the Mafia. He founded and operated since 2003 in the agency Mouv'. In 2009 he founded and works as a volunteer in the Peace Studies Centre (www.centrostudiperlapace.org)

Demand Zero! is a collection of designs for the movement illustrating the number zero and the demand for a future with zero nuclear weapons. Proceeds support Global Zero, the international movement for the elimination of all nuclear weapons.

About our Prints
