Power to the Poster seeks poster designs that are catalysts for change. They challenge where we've been and set a course for where we could go. It is our hope we add to the dialogue of what is next for America and the world. Launched in 2011 by Justin Kemerling.

Artist Statement

One of the important problems society is facing today is factory farming. The competition to provide less expensive meat, eggs and dairy products has led the factory-farming industry to treat animals as objects and commodities. Over time the small traditional farms as they were for centuries evolved into factory farms – large warehouses where animals are confined in crowded cages and are subjected to torturing. In addition to the terrible conditions in which animals are put through, factory farming has many negative impacts on human life. — Alexandra Secrieru
