Artist Statement

"Sputnik II was a russian mission, it was the second spacecraft launched into Earth orbit and the first to carry a living animal, a dog named Laika. I represented a Laika portrait and a scheme of the missions path." - Victoria Fernandez

Victoria was born and raised in Caracas-Venezuela, lived for a while in Montreal, Buenos Aires and is now based in Madrid. She enjoys making people smile.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
