"Saint Mary's College of California is nestled in the hills of Moraga. This is one of the East Bay's loveliest locations for the arts, including music, dance, theater, and visual arts. I painted this in watercolor, layering in colors and details of the architecture contrasting with hills and trees. Art lives here and it's a great place to see a play, hear a concert, and visit the wonderful Saint Mary's College Museum of Art." - Elizabeth Kennen
I'm an artist based in the SF Bay Area, working in both watercolor and oils. Favorite subjects are landscapes, nature studies and architecture. I love to paint something with a sense of history about it, adding layers of color and detail. Inspiration for compositions come from various travels, and from studying the beautiful and amazing terrain of Northern California.
