Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
My sister runs marathons and she has always had her dogs to run with her. I decided to paint her and her running partner, Kirby, a rescued dalmatian. Kirby has been slowing down lately as he ages. But he still runs with her. She just finished the Boston Marathon this morning, with a pretty good time, so I wanted to upload this painting to honor all of her dalmatians that have been her support through the years, helping her to qualify to run the Boston every year. I have gotten back to painting again, instead of the digital images that I had been creating with the Adobe programs. This one is painted completely in watercolor. It feels good to work with paint again. - Lyla Paakkanen
