Our National Parks make America great. They are our shared treasure. They are a symbol of a legacy of freedom and a set of collective values that has been gifted to us by previous generations. It is our obligation to preserve this treasure and pass it on, intact to generations that will follow us. Our National Parks connect us with nature. Time in nature reminds us that our physical and spiritual survival is inextricably linked to out relationship with the natural world. To quote John Muir, "When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world." — Eric Junker
