Artist Statement

"I've always been a big fan of space and I'm pretty sure I wanted to be an astronaut when I was younger. I think I've watched most movies that is about space, not to mention documentaries. It never cease to blow my mind that we can send something completely unmanned into space to do the kind of mission the Osiris-REx will do. With a somewhat minimalistic style, which I'm passionate about, I've tried to illustrate the Osiris-REx as it finds the asteroid it's about to take samples from. As asteroids are pretty... grey... I've designed it with colors that doesn't pop to much, to contemplement the grey." - Kjell-Roger Ringstad
