Artist Statement

"The Nehalem Bay is on the northern Oregon coast where the Nehalem River empties into the Pacific Ocean. Nehalem Bay State Park is located on a sand spit separating the bay from the ocean. Centuries-old Spanish shipwrecks are located near this beach." - Jane Rohling

Jane Rohling worked for government agencies for 28 years interpreting natural and cultural resources on public lands across the country. She is now a freelance interpretive planner, designer, writer and photographer based in Eagle, Idaho.
