Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.

Artist Statement

This Mount Rainier National Park print is a unique tribute to the WPA posters that were created in the 1930’s and 1940’s. The WPA posters were originally constructed as a government initiative to generate interest in the national parks and improve park attendance. As we are approaching the centennial anniversary of the National Parks System, we have designed WPA travel posters and postcards featuring all 59 national parks to celebrate America’s diverse homeland and to encourage you to reflect on the rich history and beauty that each national park has to offer. We hope to inspire you to find your park and travel to the stunning landscapes which make America so great. This print celebrates the beauty of Mount Rainier with the last rays of sunlight reaching the top of the mountain. Mount Rainier is an icon ascending to 14,410 feet above sea level, Mount Rainier stands as an icon in the Washington landscape. An active volcano, Mount Rainier is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S.A., spawning six major rivers. Subalpine wildflower meadows ring the icy volcano while ancient forest cloaks Mount Rainier’s lower slopes. — Ike Loveland
