Artist Statement

"The piece that I made is a representation of Mission Dolores. Having lived in the Mission District, the name has always been meaningful to me. On top of this, the architectural symbolism of Mission Dolores is prominent for the people of Bay Area, holding cultural and religious meanings. The piece is made with papers and graphite, and Photoshop." - Ivy Chang

I am a illustration designer based in Los Angeles. I was born in Taiwan and grew up there. I came to US when I was 10 and met my first wild animal in NH. I am inspired by the exploration and language of life, the little and big moments that resonates with me. My work often involves anthropomorphic animals and objects as a way of storytelling from a humorous and charming perspective. My goal is to make the world smile.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
