Artist Statement

Have you ever asked a cat to pose for the camera? Nor have I - it never works. Sometimes though, you get lucky. I recently found our two cats sitting on the garden wall, looking into the distance. Grabbing my camera, I took the bottom picture. Then - more in hope than expectation - I clapped to get their attention. As they both turned round I got my second shot. And they say that miracles never happen. - Richard Alton
