Artist Statement

"The color green represents our endangered environment. The heron reminds us to protect our environment--to prevent habitat loss. Because when we destroy our habitat, we destroy ourselves." - S Chang

Since childhood, Sara has always made art and even took AP art courses in high school. From Florida State University, she received her BFA in Studio Art in 1988 and her MS in Multilingual/Multicultural Education in 2000.

About Vote the Environment

Vote the Environment is a collection of political protest posters. We face a great crisis: climate change, extinction, destruction of wild places--and we must all raise our voices: in our work, in our schools and, most importantly, at the ballot box. A 2014 election season collaboration with Patagonia.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
