Artist Statement

"I often listened to NPR during working and driving, and one time there was a story about the plight of migrant farm workers: The really hard work they have to do and the fact that they are paid by the amount of produce they manage to pick. These are the workers that bring fruits and vegetables to our tables, and they are rarely heard." - Daria Theodora

Daria Theodora is a freelance illustrator living in the Boston area. She works mostly with inks and digital coloring, but occasionally explores traditional media like watercolor and gouache.

About We Can Do It!

We Can Do It! is a collection of designs inspired by the iconic “We Can Do It” poster of the 1940's to celebrate modern-day workers (women and men alike) who keep the country running and rarely receive the recognition they deserve. Proceeds support Ultraviolet, a powerful and rapidly growing community of people from all walks of life mobilized to fight sexism and expand women's rights.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
