Artist Statement

With 27 years of service to the Shuttle Program, Discovery had more spaceflights than any other spacecraft to date at 39 successful launches. In retirement, the Shuttle is now on display at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center annex of the Smithsonian Institutes National Air and Space Museum located at Dulles Airport in Virginia. — Bryan Bromstrup
