Artist Statement

"We're losing our dark skies just as fast as we're losing our forests, oceans, and sense of place in the world. Light pollution just might keep us from sensing our place in the universe and the preciousness of our tiny planet!" - Hallie Rose Taylor

Born and raised in Utah, Hallie Rose Taylor moved to Austin, Texas in 2009 and began pursuing her career in illustration. Resolved to paint what she loves and let the rest fall into place, her work centers around nature, dreams, and spirit.

About Vote the Environment

Vote the Environment is a collection of political protest posters. We face a great crisis: climate change, extinction, destruction of wild places--and we must all raise our voices: in our work, in our schools and, most importantly, at the ballot box. A 2014 election season collaboration with Patagonia.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
