Artist Statement

This poster is different from all the others I have made. This poster is a plea for help. This Monument is under attack, this landscape once protected is now opened up to be exploited. I started with a black and white ink drawing and then in photoshop give color and texture to emulate the natural scenery. - Bryan Clocker

I have loved the outdoors since I was old enough to walk. I have ventured to many places hiking, camping, and running. I consider the greatest thing about our government is it?s NPS and the department of the interior. I love that this land is everyone?s, no matter how rich or poor, where you are from, what race, religion, or anything other bias. Everyone has the right to come and see the beautiful and preserved landscapes that remain the same from past and future generations. That land is under attack, Donald Trump and his administration has set in motion to reduce two national monuments and open them up to oil and mining production. As an artist I can use my voice and the art I create to impact the public. I am here to standwithbearsears I am here to fight Trump and his administration and to protect OUR land!
