Artist Statement

"I wanted different species to act as the letters of the word "vote" in order to bring into sight the magnificent wildlife we humans put in compromised living situations by living in an unsustainable and frankly destructive way. " - Jill Verzino

I am an artist at school in the Bronx, NY at Fordham University, majoring in Environmental Studies as well as Visual art. I keep sane by managing the school's community garden and escaping north for the summers to work on a farm.

About Vote the Environment

Vote the Environment is a collection of political protest posters. We face a great crisis: climate change, extinction, destruction of wild places--and we must all raise our voices: in our work, in our schools and, most importantly, at the ballot box. A 2014 election season collaboration with Patagonia.

About our Prints

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-naturel. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail. International orders may be subject to customs duties & taxes.
