Artist Statement

There are so many dogs with lots of love to give! I know many dogs who have been adopted and enriched my friends' and family's lives. Each year, 2.7 million adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized in the United States, because too many pets come into shelters and too few people consider adoption. - Lorraine Nam

Based in Brooklyn, New York, Lorraine Nam is an illustrator with a love of paper. She creates illustrations for books, magazines, online media, and social media - anywhere illustrations are needed! While she works, she likes to watch live feed videos of her sister's adopted poodle-mix, Luna.
