Artist Statement

I have always spent my summers traveling to Wisconsin. It is like my second home, so I knew I wanted to create a See America poster for this state. After looking up all the locations I fell in love with The Apostle Islands. Rather than depict an island, I chose to portray a family of kayakers. My medium of choice is watercolor because of its organic and fluid nature. ‰ÛÓ Olivia Olsen
