Artist Statement

Being Colombian, I've been aware and horrified by countless stories of people being displaced by violence. As an artist, the least I can do, is to bring some awareness to this heartbreaking situation. Colombia is the second country with most refugees in the world. Over 6 million Colombians have been forcefully displaced. All their stories have one thing in common: hope for peace. — Juana Medina
