Artist Statement

I did this traditional collage in summer 2015 when refugees came to Germany in huge numbers from Syria, Africa and other places and there was nothing else on the news and in the papers. I simply tried to express my thoughts. "Help" can be interpreted in many ways, I think, because when people have to leave their home and arrive in a new place, much help is needed on both sides. — Daniela Faber
