Artist Statement

I wanted to magnify an element of the book that is rarely or shown little in previously designed covers that has a significant role in the story. I chose the vial of serum because I felt that showing the split personality of Jekyll and Hyde gave a lot of the plot away right up front. With this cover, the reader will want to know why this vial of serum is so important and hopefully want to open the book and find out! — Zoe Crago
