Jesse Pascarella My name is Jesse Pascarella and I am a Graphic Artist based out of Los Angeles, CA. I specialize in artwork that depicts a certain view of social, cultural and environmental issues, while also often referencing nature both historically and in current events. Whether the content may be more direct or symbolic, there’s always an underlying message to be conveyed: be kind, live in the moment, learn from the past and/or leave things better than how you found them.

Artist Statement

Anti-single use plastic pollution is an important topic I feel needs to be addressed. With a strong visual approach to creating awareness of the harm it is and has been doing to our oceans wildlife. ?Break Free From Plastic? is a digital painting showcasing a melancholy ecosystem where the sea life are confined inside a plastic world where they are forced to engage and consume plastic products people throw or find its way into the ocean. The primary message is shown by calling out many corporate companies that produce plastic packaging. This show?s how the issue at hand starts from up top. Brands and consumers need to make conscious decision to change. Which in turn will make the difference in pollution as a whole. Through my illustration style the message is clear - Break free from plastic! - Jesse Pascarella
