Description

"My illustration style is a fusion of the things I love: people, places, pixels, paints, penciling. I start out sketching ideas and then finesse in the computer: treating vectors like paint or pencil. This project was particular exciting because it incorporated people and places. What better place to illustrate for than the Library and the space and opportunity to explore lots of types of media." -Amanda Lenz

Libraries are the one place in our communities where emerging artists, crafters, and makers can collaborate with other creators to learn, collaborate and discover together. In many communities, the library is the only gallery or performance or creative space that is open to all. VoteLibraries means that librarians can help our communities embrace discovery, refine ideas, and express our identity together.

Amanda's experience in fine art and graphic design come together in her fluid illustration style. When she''s not penciling or pixeling, she's out on her bike getting some fresh, low-oxygen mountain air in Boulder CO.

This all-over printed tote bag has an image from seam to seam on both sides. Printed on polyester and with two black, 28" handles this tote is ideal for carrying along every day. The tote is 15" x 15" in size and is made and printed in Los Angeles, CA.
