Description

"I became aware of how important libraries are to a community not long after arriving to this country. Hours each week I spent there doing research, reading, checking out books, using a room for preparing presentations, and looking for a job. Libraries are essential to our country and we must make sure they continue their service to society and grow for generations to come."- Luis Prado

Libraries are, fundamentally, community tool kits and librarians show people how to really use the tools to discover, create, re-imagine, and improve their own lives and their neighborhoods. Well resourced libraries matter because they open doors. From enough computers to the right kind of ebooks to the art materials kids use to discover, VoteLibraries means that our librarians have the resources they need to support all kinds of learning and expression.

Luis is an Argentine-born graphic designer and advertising freelancer. He is passionate about visual communications and coffee.
