"Letterpress printed with handset wood and metal type. Designed, composed and printed on December 14, 2012 as I listened to the news reports from Connecticut." -John

John is a retired Prince George's County, Maryland police officer and a former firearms instructor with the DC Air National Guard. As a letterpress printer now living on the coast of Maine, he founded A Revolutionary Press, in 2008, a Maine non-profit dedicated to printing, publishing and promoting radical and revolutionary ideals.

The Gun Show is a collection of posters against guns that is mobilizing the creative community to make their voices heard, keep pressure on Washington, and bring more culture and media to the fight against guns. Artists from around the country have submitted these posters to join the conversation about guns, and promote change.

Each poster is hand-printed and handled, to make sure that only the highest quality is offered and sent out. The matte paper and high quality of inks make for a vibrant image which looks great both framed, and au-natural. Printed in Los Angeles, CA, on Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, heavyweight stock, high color gamut, using Epson UltraChrome HDR ink-jet technology. Framed posters offer the same, museum-quality printed poster, but wrapped in a protective black frame. The frame is lightweight and includes a shatter-resistant acrylite front protector, so it won't break in the mail.
