Artist Statement

Whitman Mission National Historic Site, located in Walla Walla, Washington, is the site of a mission founded by Marcus and Narcissa Whitman. Known for the infamous Whitman massacre, it played an important role in the history of the Oregon Trail. ‰ÛÓ Jillian Vaughan
