Artist Statement

Pacific Crest Trail - California - Oregon - Washington. I chose the color palette that would best represent the trail - blue, green, and black for the silhouettes. Specifically designed in 3 colors with halftone gradients in which I screen printed for the final piece. I wanted to portray the other activities one might do besides long distance hiking, which is what the trail is best known for. There are easily accessible day trips and short hikes, as well as horseback riding with world class landscapes and scenery in each state. ‰ÛÓ Angela Ivy
