Born and raised under the Big Skies of Montana, I've always had a passion for the environment; it's what gives me the motivation and inspiration to create. When I was 18 I packed my bags and headed west thinking I was going to be a social worker and change the world. This was the first of many different paths in college that shaped the way I conceptualize design. I am interested in increasing social, enviromental, and economic awareness through different media outlets. I graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Graphic Design, and minoring in Community Development. I work with small businesses, higher education and non-profits, while collaborating with different artists on independent projects.

Artist Statement

Growing up in Montana, I've always had a love for rivers. The flathead river flows into the one of my favorite lakes, Flathead Lake. These are both beautiful places that hold a special place in my heart, as well as many Montana natives. Photo credit: Trevor Eagleton ‰ÛÓ Marissa Leitch
