Artist Statement

Fort McHenry is the home of the Stars-Spangled Banner that inspired France Scott Key to write what became our National Anthem. After viewing the bombing of the fort on September 12, 1814 the flag flew by the dawns early light. ‰ÛÓ Daniel Gross
