Artist Statement

This point in central Kansas is where Francisco Vasquez de Coronado purportedly ended his search for the mythical Seven Cities of Gold in the New World. The rock castle was built as part of the WPA in 1936 on a hill northwest of Lindsborg, Kansas. ‰ÛÓ Rodney Buxton
