I am a person of many facets, but illustration and related drawing and painting is what satisfies me most and where I feel most at ease. I have been drawing all my life, and have been doing street art for more than twenty years. I am mostly a self-taught artist although I have taken courses in graphic design, mural painting and done a Master course in illustration at the ESAT Academy. Drawing is what motivates me most. I enjoy it greatly. Drawing is what moves me greatly, and I enjoy it, live it is the greatest satisfaction that I have.

Artist Statement

WE WERE STRANGERS TOO: Refugees, choosing between a coffin and a suitcase. In support of migrant people, victims of this so called “Refugee Crisis” and of the ineffectiveness of the European countries, to the reflection, the visualization and the solidarity with the refugee people. The goal consists in offering, with our habitual means of work, an illustration that reflects on the refugees or asylum-seekers’ situation, having been expelled from their original countries. This is my illustration about refugees. I hope you like it. — Xèlon xlf
