Artist Statement

My main focus was to make a crown. Since the story focuses on Russian nobility, I wanted the cover give the perspective reader(s) an idea of its' major theme. Along with that, I made the cross the color red to symbolize the Swiss Clinic and Prince Myshkins' health. — Michelle Martinez
