I took a new age approach to create this cover by using Digital Art. Their are so many motifs to represent "Grimm's Fairytales". Some of the motifs that I wanted to illustrate the most were gold and trees because these motifs were used throughout most of tales. The lineup of trees represents the forest setting where most of the tales were based. I used few gold colored elements since most of the characters from these tales were either desired, tried to obtain, or were corrupted by great fortune and wealth. — Crystal Hunter-Jones
