I am a sophomore journalism and graphic design student at Doane University in Crete, Nebraska. I have always been interested in writing and design, and hope to combine the two into a career after I graduate. Whenever I'm not designing or writing for my campus newspaper, I enjoy baking, watching cooking competitions, drinking coffee and finding dogs around campus to pet.

Artist Statement

When I was younger, I would drive to school in the winter listening to A Christmas Carol on tape in my car. Christmas is also my favorite time of the year, and I am always captivated by winter. This inspired me to recreate this book in my own perspective. — Lauren Wagner
