Lysa DuCharme Lysa is an adventure seeking artist and botanist who gains inspiration from her travels in diverse natural and cultural landscapes. Love of art has been with her since her Minnesotan childhood but it was moving to Colorado at twenty that really triggered the love for nature, wanderlust, and ultimate incorporation of the outdoors into her work. She specializes in acrylic paint but dabbles in color pencil, ink, watercolor, and graphic design. She is currently residing in CT.

This piece shows cliff palace in Mesa Verde National Park. This piece was created to bring awareness to the many wonders in the U.S. It is important to understand the past and to preserve our parks in order to educate the future and conserve the beautiful nature that surrounds us. - Lysa DuCharme
