I'm Everrett Healy the youngest child of three with the strongest chaotic energy out of all of us. I'm an illustrator from the suburbs of Chicago and I am currently attending Columbia College downtown. I love primary colors and messy pen work. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago with the city to one side and the forest preserves on all the others. I think it's given me a pretty unique view of how nature and the city can mix.

Artist Statement

I did mine on Olympic National Park because Washington state's natural land is incredibly vivid and refreshing in its' visuals. I'm from the suburbs of Chicago and the lake has always been one of my favorite places downtown. During the spring right before the end of the semester when the water is still cold and the people are a little more scarce it's the perfect place to just sit and take a moment to breathe. I just really loved the idea of someone enjoying the same kind of feeling sitting on the coast on the other side of America somewhere with a little less concrete and steel you know? - Everrett Healy
